Welp, it happened to me. My rear derailleur had a catastrophic failure in the trails today, and now I’m faced with either replacing just the derailleur with a new one or switching over to a 1×11 system using a shimano deore 11-51 cassette. I have a 2018 Kona fire mountain with plans to upgrade the front fork to a 130mm travel one also. I was also thinking of repainting the frame since I got it with the paint pretty messed up. Thanks for any advice !
