good to “get biking” but I wouldn’t consider this in any way a replacement or competition for an entry level gravel bike

Good for you! Ha, ha, after a year or so, you may be in the market for an upgrade, but nothing wrong with riding along, figuring it out, biding your time. Have a blast.

  3. Awesome to get out riding no matter the price tag on the bike! Looks like the handlebars need adjusting? Could just be the tilt of the wheel exaggerating it but looks like they’re pointed too far down on the right bike.

These bikes are upgradable. Nothing wrong with big box store bikes, there fun and when you find yourself in love with cycling, you’ll know if your ready to move up. For the meantime, absolutely makes sense to save money and ensure you’ll be doing this for years to come before you spend big bucks.

  5. Tread carefully. I started off with that same bike. Less than 6 months later I had a $3k bike haha!

In all seriousness, its a great starter bike, I remember it fondly. Enjoy!
