Around 1500km on it, never removed from rim since new. Has been sitting since December. Takes about 2 days from 35 psi to completely flat.

That would be a sensible thing to try.
Most likely if the sealant is 6 months or older it’s worth adding more

Unless your using muc-off again, then just pull any big clumps (be careful not to pull any holes that it’s already plugged, use a razor and cut their ‘tails’ and leave the build up nearer the inside of the tyre so you don’t have to plug it again)
