Come on, it’s just one bike. You wanna be cool don’t ya? You won’t get addicted, all the cool kids are doing it. It’ll make you feel reaaally good.

What type of riding are you interested in doing? Downhill focused or more trail oriented? I have the Neuron and I love it for trail riding. I wouldn’t want to trail ride a 27.5 Spectral.

    Do it.

    You won’t, you’re scared.

    The old you would have.

    You used to be cool.

    Don’t be a shit cunt….

How much more peer pressure do you need?….

  4. as others have said, just do it, full send etc.

but on a more serious note, getting into mtb’ing about 2 years ago has done wonders for both my physical and mental health.

    anyway just send ittttttt

unless your short, I wouldnt get a 27.5 bike for trail riding currently borrowing a friends small sized neuron and its super prone to petal strikes (neuron uses 27.5 wheels in the small size). Otherwise the bikes awesome but its pretty annoying. Vote for neuron if not in the small size

Can you demo bikes anywhere near you? I would say just get the best bike you can afford and go for it. If you’re already temped you’ll love it. Worst case you have nice bike.

I’m gonna go ahead and say it: you don’t need a full-suspension bike for your first MTB.

A decent quality hard tail will be lighter, less maintenance, and help you build your skill set. Look for something with an air fork, 1x drivetrain, and dropper post, and you’ll be super well equipped to start shredding the trails near you.

Canyons can be good, but check out your local bike shops offerings. One tends to break things when you’re riding off road, and starting a good relationship with them will only benefit you in the long run. Ideally, they’ll run mountain bike rides so that someone can show you the best local trails.

    Sure!
I have kidnapped your mother, and if you ever want to see her again you’ll get your first mountain bike!

  9. Any particular reason you’re leaning toward Canyon? They have a reputation for having terrible customer service. YT has similar value but a better reputation. The izzo would be a great bike.
