  1. Oops… reddit deleted my long text.

It was kind of like this: Roast me and give me constructive feedback how to get all the girls and become famous in r/xbiking

    My 5 Cents:

I hate the geometry (I want a manly horizontal / diamond frame! not this ugly shit … it’s my 2nd bike I bought / I got … because the market doesn’t offer those cool frames – why tho?!)

Also those top bags are super ugly… I need to get rid of those. Will do later. They’re also always in the way and don’t stay put.

The handlebar is almost cool but too wide… maybe I should cut them to get a slimmer grip?

  2. To get more on-brand for xbiking gonna need to swap out the hydro brakes for mechanical, buy some swept back bars, and get a pizza rack for the front 😉

Minus the oddly mounted double rear lights you have a far too pragmatic bike to really fit in around here. This is perhaps why I don’t post my bikes despite enjoying this sub!

  3. The cordmaxxing and double taillights are a good start, but you need to swap the perfectly fine blackburn bags with expensive boutique bike bags in pink and neongreen

The hell is going on with all the cable/hose length in the front? Looks like a disaster. Shorten them to length like a normal person and come back when you have alt bars, poser.

Sorry, is that too rough? (Mostly) just kidding!

Think you’re already there. Gotta ask: where are you going? Looks like enough storage to cross an entire continent.😁 Nice job getting all that storage on there.

  6. My top tip is stop buying bikes that are sensibly built for the purpose of your build. Always go with something that is of old spec and will be an absolutely nightmare to fit modern parts to and possible also ride. That way your bike will look cool

Why isn’t there a garage sale action figure bolted on this bike anywhere? Am I just not seeing it because of the non-drive side pic or what?

  8. Going unsupported to your local grocery store.

Really though, what’s going on with the bag behind your saddle? Why not just use a rear rack?

It SOUNDS like you’re already xbiking…

I think xbiking is about finding the bike you can get (which you did) and then using brute force and creativity to make it into what you want. (Which you’re doing)

You get extra points if your handlebars, saddle, bags, or racks, on their own, cost more than double what you paid for the original bike haha.

Currently rocking 70 dollar bars on a 25 dollar bike haha. I’m dumb!

  10. This thing already fucks a lot.

It actually matches xbiking more than all the Instagram copy pasta bikes.

Why? It’s a bike, it’s ridable and rided. Seems like you canof things with it?

    Now for your question :

bags swapping? Why not if you got the money for what you want.

Handlebars? Sur you can shorten them. Maybe try various length with grips that you can get the bars through first. So you don’t cut too short before finding your position.

Anything else is bling for the bling. Not that I don’t like it, but that doesn’t make it more or less xbike
