Fun as heck to ride. Anybody interested in a Shimano coaster brake mod how-to? I respaced this one to 135mm and did a couple other mods like chamfering the brake shoes.
Five months a go I picked up a Sears free spirt from the 80’s for the chang-star break levers with DiaCompe MX parts and now the frame it’s just sitting on the my Dry aging rack. I think, I think I’m going to put her to work.

Looks fun, but I’m a little leery of bikes with only means of braking- I was riding with friend recently who was on an old clunker and they lost their chain- stopping was… exciting. I’d throw a front brake and single lever on for emergency/quick stopping.
