I dont have input on straps, but curious why you chose this rack whrn it seems you have the mounting points for a more conventional one?

you dont need to cut them off. you can remove them without cutting. i hvae a bag with loops sewn in so i still use the og straps

I unthreaded my original straps (as mentioned by another poster you don’t have to destructively remove them) and replaced them with RokStraps.

My wife uses the straps on a 10ltr dry bag. Rides 4hrs plus of England’s finest mud and rock gravel, and they have never faltered!

I use the straps it came with. They’ve been great for 2 years now.
I took off the small plastic bit on the end and just run the strap back through the cradles strap holes when not in use to keep them out of the wheels.

I use long ski straps. If i have a big bag on i double them up.

I’m thinking of getting one of these but nervous with my carbon seat stays., esp on rough stuff Has anyone had any issues or received any advice?

Was thinking of getting this but isn’t it quite expensive ? Is it worth it???

I use voile straps WITH the originals lol. Honestly tho, I’d just cut em off. Much more secure with voile, mine kept slipping with the originals, even with daisy chains (although that was the side cradles)
