That is the question. Finally building up my ‘93 singletrack 950. Bars and cables are in the mail. I have both sets of tyres lying around, I like em both. So the choice is down to looks. What do we think guys?
Bonus question; anyone got any suggestions for bling colour pops? I still need to get grips and pedals and was considering going for grey or something. No idea, maybe I should just keep it simple and let the graphics on the frame do the talking.

silver rims get tan walls

I like tan when a bike has silver parts. So yes to tanwalls.
I’m currently doing a black/red build and I’m going with tanwalls and brown pedals/grips.
One vote for black sidewalls here – i think they would match the black frame better. I would go with a “none more black” design concept on this frame.

I love tan walls, but they’re generally more expensive and you HAVE to match tires.
I feel like wolftooth does good low key coloring. Not at all cheap, but solid (I say, only having bought some bottle cage bolts lol).

Ok, here’s the update. I gave everything a lil scrub and stuck the tan dth tires on the og matrix wheel that came with the bike. I’m probably gonna skip the t-cut and fresh cables and cruiser bars on the way! Might take lock-on grips and mks bear trap pedals from another bike until I know what I want for this bike. Got a black b17 saddle for my birthday back in November, it is obviously going on this build!
