That’s going to be a beautiful build. Silver will look great on that frame.

  3. Oh god so sweet. So the bar end shifters are mounted on the brake levers, Gevanalle-style? I dig it.

This looks like it will build up nicely.

I have a 1986 Trek Elance 310 i restomodded 10 years ago. Turns out it is the same Bridgestone made frame and fork as the RB-1. Best riding bike I’ve ever owned.

Awesome! I am just starting to dive into modernizing my Traveller in the same way and this gave me a lot of inspiration

I rode the $hit out of a 93 RB 1 from ‘93-‘95. Commuting to my job at a bike shop and racing it on weekends. I replaced it with a Merlin with dura ace. I miss that RB. Thanks for sharing your build!
