I recently bought my first brompton used, and had to find out that the standard dynamo light B+M Lumotec 15W gets just ever so slightly in the way of stuff on the carrying block. Is it supposed to be that tight?
Now, I did install an aftermarket aluminium block, so maybe it's because of that? Or do I need to get an even flatter light clamp?
I wouldn't want to buy the IQ X or XS, since its financially too much and for my purpose I don't need that bright of a light. Any other recommendations that fit?

Get a different light bracket, or fabricate one.
Hell, you might even be able to bend this one tighter to the brake and move the light forwards and down a smidge, you don’t need a lot of space, but they do need to be mad down.
I have a far far larger (old halogen) light on my Brompton, and it’s mounted way low
There’s a specific Bropmton bracket tha tcurves over and around the brake caliper to get the light mounted out of the way of the bag.
