  1. this is insane, you can't simply use the song of one of the greatest brazillian singers of all time and don't ask for his permission, gilberto gil whas the minister of culture in brasil during lula government, in 2003 this man perfomed at the openning of the General Assembly of the United Nations (mf ONU) there isn't a single brazilian, 214,3 million people) who doesn't know who this man is, his contribution to art and music is something that tyler the creator can dream of leaving behind one day, it's like using a song from michael jackson and not paying the goddamn royalties (and mj isn't even alive), you guys think tyler would do that? i can bet my ass he wouldn't! the lack of respect the american music industry has for brazillian music is something out of this world some times. you can't simply use his song as a sample as if it was from some underground indie band. It isn't Gilberto Gil who's having the "honor of being in a Tyler song", quite the contrary actually, it is Tyler who is having the honor of using a Gil song without even paying due respect to a true living legend.

  2. Duplo Sentido, de Tetê da Bahia/Gilberto Gil
Two-way*, by Tetê da Bahia/Gilberto Gil

*As the singer uses a metaphor for everyday life on the streets, the term traffic "two-way street" was kept instead of another word that would indicate a double linguistic meaning.

From this corner at least I can see the movement of the cars
I came home because it was unbearable to think
From this corner at least I can see the two-way
The two-way of traffic is not bothering me
From this corner at least I can see the movement of cars
I came home because it was unbearable to talk
On the phone so far away
    With people I can't see
On the phone with people I can't touch
On this corner at least I can see
    The two-way of everything
In everyone who goes to different places
    First, third, eighth floors
    Twentieth ways of walking
On that corner at least I can see
    The two-way of everything
    In the lack of unanimity
Some come to the city like me
    Others rush back
I came home because it was unbearable to think
In health, in health, in faith
On this corner at least I can see what it's like
    And not bother myself
The two-way of the street is so clear
    There's no need to doubt
The two-way of the street is so clear
    The guard's whistle blows
On this corner at least I can see the cars moving
I came home because it was unbearable to think
On this corner at least I can see
    The two-way street
    The two-way traffic
    The two-way traffic
    I can see
    The two-way traffic
    The two-way traffic
    Two-way traffic
    The two-way traffic of…
