Is there such thing as a “premium” American one piece BB and crank?

I’m making use of a trash bin klunker and looking to spend as few $$ as possible. The bike was probably a $100 Walmart cruiser in mid 2010s. I’ve replaced the BB bearings and greased it well. There’s either play or subtle binding.

Any well regarded replacement one piece cranks? Or am I looking at the adapter / English BB in reality.
