Hi r/Brompton
I was having an issue with my bike unfolding unexpectedly and noticed the lower stop disc wasn't close enough to the seat post when folded.
Tried to adjust this evening – I have no idea how in the name of physics this has happened – but suddenly I can't depress my seat post fully at all – even with the disc entirely removed!
All I did was loosen the disc a bit and pop it back on – any clues what's happening here?
(Ps in the photo above the disc is screwed in as much as possible, and still poses an impediment as you can see!)

Per the photos, the Brompton is not folded completely, which is why the seat post is bumping into the stop disc and its bolt. The seat post will clear the stop disc and its bolt when the front fork hook is resting down onto the rear triangle chain stay. Check that the fork hook is aligned for completely resting onto the chain stay. The front hook wire stay can become bent, changing the alignment of the hook.
