I've worked on it for hours now. Nothing is making sense to me. The chain just seems fucked up in 5 different ways. Amazing around the chain stay and completely fucked the derailleur. I never unlinked the chain so it must be in it's original configuration but then why is everything so messed up?
I've never messed with a chain or a derailleur and I'm not mechanically inclined necessarily. My brain can't even comprehend how this happened. Is my only option to brake the chain and reroute it?
