After a short stop in Tolmin enjoying the sights of the Soca River we headed to Kranjska Gora to start our self guided cycling trip from the Alps down to Piran on the Adriatic. Overnight stays were in great hotels and luggage was all organised to miraculously appear in our room by the time we got there. We just needed to get ourselves from place to place, enjoy the sights and hospitality which were all amazing and of course sample the many wonderful restaurants to top up the calories for the next days ride.
