I found this Hybrid Cannondale H300 in pristine condition for $80 in Fb. Was so good that felt bad about rebuilding it but did not have any use for me in its original form so went ahead and did it. What do you think? Will perform as a gravel bike? Weight went down from 12.7 to 10.8.

First time seeing my same bike on here! ‘96 H300 & I love pretty much everything about it. I’ve taken mine on 2 50+ mile bikepacking trips on PNW gravel forest roads & it’s been awesome. Aluminum makes it a bit of a bone shaker at times, but dropping the psi helps & I imagine drops will as well. I’m also considering an airseat for underneath my saddle.
I actually prefer flat bars but the drops look so natural here it has me rethinking a possible conversion. I’m going to save this post for reference if I ever decide to send it.
