Depends on what you plan on doing. My biggest regret was not getting a full suspension straight off the bat. Ended up spending a lot more later down the line when I could’ve just spent the extra money in the beginning to get a full suspension. World of a difference

It’s great for the riding that I do/local to me. Externally routed dropper and a lighter air fork made the bike a lot better though.
I’m ignorant to how good a full sus bike is but I have zero complaints about the gc5 and its value.
All depends. If you don’t plan on hitting super technical trails, it would be fine. You can still hit up technical trails, but a full suspension will beat you up less
