Looking to buy my first road bike. Is this 2018 Giant Defy Advance 1 worth $1250? I’m aware of the Giant Conduct brake system, and I will just replace with full hydraulic if I feel necessary. Description says it was mostly used on a trainer.

That was almost full price in 2018. I was looking at one, but bought a Contend SL instead. Full price for the Contend was about $1150, and if memory is correct, the carbon Defy Advanced was $1450-1500.
I actually got my Contend at a discounted price, $975. That was pre pandemic.
