Our 2,000-mile adventure, attempting to cycle to all 15 UK national parks in 30 days, across England, Scotland & Wales.
Getting back before work meant cycling 60+ miles a day, living from our tent and being on the move from sunrise to sunset (and then some).
After six long months of training and preparations, we set off, but nothing could have prepared us for the ride that followed. The most beautiful and brutal experience of our lives.
This is how it all unfolded.

A big motivation behind our Ride for the Wild challenge was to raise money for Trees for Life. They’re a brilliant rewilding charity in the Scottish Highlands, working to protect and promote wild landscapes and biodiversity.
Our fundraising page is still open here if you’d like to help support them: https://gofund.me/42ebca6b
This was our first video (major learning curve!) but we’ve got plenty more in the pipeline and an even bigger ride on the horizon. If you enjoyed this video, we’d love it if you subscribed to the channel 🙂
Cheers all, happy rides!

An incredible journey – worth writing a book for sure…!!! (Martin)
I had an awful saddle sore recently, like the size of a tennis ball down there, I can only sympathise…
Absolutely loved it and you guys are legends!!! Alex and I just finished watching it – wow what an adventure!!
Great video!! Really liked it!
Well done guys what an adventure ..that’s living … which town did you start at 👍🏻👍🏻🚴🚴
Well done! What a great trip, even with all the ups and downs you made it…such a great accomplishment 😊

I loved your story a lot. After riding the 2007 PBP in constant rain the whole 89 hours, I had a massive saddle sore that needed lancing after my return to the US. PAINFUL!
What a brilliant ride. Would you be willing to share the track? This would be my 2003 summer trip.
Thanks, and happy trails!
Great achievement, journey and film. Well done to you both.
Really enjoyed following you through this at the time on Instagram so to see it as a film is great. You should do more of your journeys.
You two are inspiring and fantastic.
Amazing, incredible trip and great to see the cycling in the rest of the UK, and a little bit of our home town and local trails. Fantastic effort, brilliant story 😁👍
Cracking adventure, ps, Wales is a bugger to adventure across 😂
with the wild camping, how do u handle toiletries? Did u use special fast biodegradable toilet paper and shovel to bury the deed? Have been wanting to try wild camping, but this is almost my only concern left other than getting cookset and other tools. Thanks for any advice
Wonderful and amazing thank you! My areas are Dartmoor, Exmoor Quantocks and Blackdowns and they're hilly challenges. Was water ever an issue for you? What typical weights were your kit and bikes? What total height did you climb? Anything you would do differently or change on the bikes?
Epic!!! Impressive!
Thank you
For women long distance riders; use a pantyliner in your bike shorts and there is a product called "Bag Balm" (some farmers use this on the teets of their cows to prevent chafing and soreness when being milked). Place substance in upper groin area in order to prevent saddle sores. Lots of LIFE lessons in Long Distance Bike Touring; I love it and have been wanting to do one since 2016 (family/financial interruptions).
Well done. Excellent journey
Amazing well done and great video inspiring 👌🚴♂️🚴♂️
Smashed it
Brilliant Vid & Achievement. I'm 59 and got Chronic Tendonitis etc so watching these vlogs is a Godsend for me. Most I've Cycled in a day is 60 miles, but reckon I've Cycled 250,000 in my Life
