Home renovations can be a pain in the a**. But now that I'm done with this god forsaken house I bought last year, I finally have time to ride a "kids bike" again. r/bmx kept my mood up, so thank you guys for keeping this thread alive.
Had to pause for half a year, glad to be riding again

In 2001 I paused for 8 months when I broke my fibula. It took a bit to get my leg back to strength, but shortly after I was winning local contests.
The one thing I learned about taking a short or even long break, if when you get back on your bike, you’ve forgotten how to do tricks wrong. Sometimes you get in a habit of doi6the same mistakes, but then when you ride again, you just have the idea in your head of how it should work, and you end up doing it.
