Hi all, my rear derailleur seems to be getting stuck when coasting, causing the chain to come off occasionally. I just cleaned and oiled the chain and took this video right after. Is this fixable or should I replace the derailleur?

Your freewheel ( the mechanism inside your rear hub) is extremely bound up and needs to be serviced. A shop will charge you about the same in labor as to install new one- $30-$40
Seems like it’s getting hit by the wheel. Your derailleur hanger might be bent. It’s worth trying to fix that, and if you’re still having issues you may have to replace the mech.
Probably shouldn’t ride it until you fix
I had the same thing happen on my new bike. The problem was the plastic spoke guard. It wasn’t attached properly, so prevented the hub from spinning. I cut it off and that solved the problem.
Needs new freewheel and chain.
