For several years I ran an event called Night of Adventure to raise funds and awareness for Hope and Homes for Children (www.hopeandhomes.org). The first was way back in 2010.

The format was simple, fun for the audience, but fiendishly difficult for the speakers: everyone had 20 slides, and the slides scrolled forwards automatically every 20 seconds (a format known as ‘pecha kucha’). The results were short, punchy, occasionally chaotic talks about adventures large and small, all over the world.

Thank you so much to all of the adventurers who gave up their time to support these events. I hope you enjoy listening to their stories.
