If you had to start your bike packing setup with two bags which two would you purchase first? Since a overnight trip is further in my future I want a bag or bags that I would get the most use out of on longer day rides.

I’d start with a frame bag and a saddle bag. Very handy, but not really suited for carrying large amounts of gear are top tube bags. Instead however, you can also just use the pockets of your jersey.
