  1. A lot of the comments seem to be praise and the like but non of you understand the speed involved having to shift to 1st gear in order not to stall out means going below 10 mph not 15 or 20. This is Europe so bike friendly is more the roads are narrower and the follige blocks sight driver is right to not pass as it would be dangerous. But passing someone going 10 mph is something i would do with about 100meters of view which on a car is pleanty of space to pass

  2. Cyclists are the worst. Only things that should be traveling on the road are things that can go the speed limit. Cyclists make the roads dangerous by forcing vehicles to pass every single time, driving on the wrong side of the road. Ride your dumb bikes on the bike path, if youre scared of driveways then pay attention.

  3. My god, when that other car came up I was like "get on the right side of the road you fool!'.. But it's england. Always doing things different

  4. Couldve easily let him overtake there, ngl. Cyclist was unreasonably slow. You should teach a driver how to overtake, it improves their driving and helps build confidence

  5. "We will only overtake when it's safe and necessary" like do you even drive?💀 Overtaking a cycle is a good thing to do because you are just driving extremely slowly for no reason at all

  6. I don't know but it seems unnecessary to stay behind a cyclist for that long. You clearly have enough space to overtake him, sure its safe to stay back but regardless of that the outcome will never change even if you overtake that cyclist.

  7. I wish you covered the unwritten road rule of driving over the cyclist in-front of you before reversing over them and looking proud at the meat-metal paste you've created on the road. Really helps the learners I teach feel better.

  8. And in our country instructors just get in and sit and you just struggle on your own until you somehow manage and learn. All they say – here turn right, here left. Like a very expensive google directions guide.

  9. I had an instructor who asked me to overtake a cyclist just before a roundabout and with a truck exiting the roundabout approaching the cyclist. Didn't follow my instructor and he kept on talking about it (annoyingly) that I should've overtaken the cyclist. I chose safety. So thanks for putting this video and respecting the cyclist. I can now say, I made a good choice.

  10. I’m always terrified of driving near cyclists, I feel like they are just one loose stone away from a major accident. I will always give them a couple meters space in front and around a meter to the side when it is safe to pass them. It drives me nuts in Australia we have these skinny ass bike lanes on the edge of the roads and the more professional cyclists like this guy will always ride right on the line, like come on man if I have to stick in my lane so do you
