  1. Looks like it’s taped. I think that’s why it’s called tubeless ready. Cuz it’s ready for tubeless.

  2. MidWestMountainBike on

Should be good, just take a look over it and make sure it’s sealed well.

If you haven’t done no tubes before, be a bit careful when seating the tire, you could damage the tape with your levers if you’re careless or have stiffer/stubborn tires.

  3. That tape should be good to go but you can always try inflating the tire before you add sealant. Use soapy water on the sidewalls (I use a spray bottle). This helps identify leaks. Then pump up the tire and see if it holds air. If it holds air for 5 minutes that means the tape is good. Then let the air out and add sealant and you should be good. If it leaks, retape the rim. If it was me and it was leaking I wouldn’t tape over bad tape, I would peel off the old tape and apply new tape.

  4. Good to go, just need the tubeless stem. Fun fact, I’ve used Guerilla tape as a cheap alternative to tubeless tape and it works. It’s nice because you can trim to exact width. I got the tip from a local bike shop.
