Vingegaard didn't have a good day, yet he's still second, and his teammate Matteo Jorgenson is first overall, who didn't have a good day yesterday. I read headlines about Almeida's "humiliation" of Vingegaard. Total sensationalism. He's known to be an endurance cyclist, not a power cyclist. Today, his endurance and power failed him. Almeida failed him too. Lenny Martinez, Lipowitz, and Skjelmose are doing very well. I hope they maintain their quality and improve for the future. Cycling needs more leaders and fewer teammates. Hopefully, Vingegaard's blow doesn't force him to retire. A nice finish.
