I bought my daugter this 12″ bike that has a coaster brake. The tire seems to be a little off. I tried to adjust it but it doesn’t want to move. Is this normal for coaster bikes?

Loosen it, than jam a tennis ball between the tire and seat tube. Retighten and crack a beer.

They are usually pieces of junk, yes.

You have to loosen where the coaster brake arm connects to the frame as well as the axle nuts to move the wheel.

Just adding the same feedback as u/mmlow… there’s a brake arm on the left side of the bike: you gotta loosen the clip which holds that arm to the frame before you can adjust wheel alignment. Loosen it and the wheel nuts, adjust the wheel alignment, then tighten everything. Good to go!
