300 is a good deal, 400 fair price imho. depends on the drivetrain a bit

300-400 seems fair. I mentioned this on another post, but if you want wider gear ranges, get a 9 speed long cage Shimano mtb derailleur. You’ll then be able to run up to a 36t cassette which will give you more gear range. 9 speed mtb Shimano is the same pull ratio as 10 speed road
