All i need is to learn how to take care of my bike. I have no idea how to oil the chain, bleed the brakes or honestly anything. My chain is squeaky and all i do is pressure wash it once a week.
Tubeless is a hassle unless you are doing hardcord DH. 1x though is my favorite upgrade though. Saves good weight, less chain wear, less noise. With the right cassette you'll realize quick that 3x was a waste
A lot of you like changing tubes on here huh? 😂. I won’t go back. Everyone acts like tire sealant is a hard thing to do. And the rare chance you need to put a plug when the sealant doesn’t work……. Is still less effort than putting a tube
I was thinking about going tubeless and ditching the front derailleur and getting a dropper post And I just got the pro approval Excellent I'm on it 👊🙏
1x is the worst thing the industry has forced on everyone. Imagine making the most go anywhere bike less versatile to purely cater to the bike park fraternity. There’s nothing more frustrating than topping out your gears on a forest fire road, cycle path or heaven forbid the actual road
Sorry, but as someone who rides mixed terrain and often on the road and I am on trails, the 1x system is trash for me. I like my 3x system because when I really want speed, I can switch into the second or third cog and off I go. That's one thing I have always kept when upgrading. I will never ride Enduro or competently, so yeah.

Dropper is step one if you want to get serious followed very very closely by tubeless I then would go 1 by but that is a later step for sure
