Bought an used rack for a Newlane. Screws fit mounting holes in the seatstays, but I expected a mounting option in the front. It's not really usable this way – what am I missing?
I can send a photo from our shop tomorrow of the exact piece, but you need a metal piece that will attach from the seatstays (the small metal piece bridging them) and the front mounting point on top of your pannier. The plastic spacers are only needed if you are using mudguard, as they set your spacing between mudguard and the tire.

You need a seatclamp with rack mounting bolts (unless there’s some hidden ones at the top of the seatstays I’m not seeing). There should then be two bars that go out forwards. Something like this [https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/seat-posts/mpart-seat-clamp-with-rack-mounts-for-318-mm-diameter-seat-tubes/](https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/seat-posts/mpart-seat-clamp-with-rack-mounts-for-318-mm-diameter-seat-tubes/)
