The Bedgebury Forest half marathon is a race put on by Nice Work, hosted at Bedgebury Forest, Kent, in Southeast England.

The event is split into a 10k and a half marathon, with those who do the half marathon running two laps around the forest with a slight variation in lap number two. This race promised to be an exciting challenge with lots of hills, plenty of twists and turns, and – as I was about to find out – extremely muddy terrain from the wet autumn weather. All part of the fun!

I lined up with hundreds of other runners on the starting line, eager to get going. In this video, I document my race day experience. Hope you enjoy!
