  1. Never leave bikes outside. Inside car or locked even with heavy u-lock is certain way to lose your bike.

  2. Lets talk about people who need to stay off of another persons bikes…
Not about how you should or should not leave your bike on your car….

  3. Frames tagged / marked ? Declare them as stolen. Go to the local police to make a declaration of the theft (insist they take it). Maybe your home insurance will cover some of the loss, depending on your policy.

Look on local reselling sites like Leboncoin if they pop-up soon (and if they do, go to the police again).

Sadly, there are chances they will go to a dark warehouse and a foreign country quickly…

And next time, I’ll have to concur with others for such nice bikes : more security, localization devices hidden, covered from sight if left in a car in a city center, etc… Never too safe sadly.

Best of luck finding them back

  4. If you’ve bought them in France, they should be tagged them in the official database. I hope you get them back… But I wouldn’t hold my breath.

All you can Donnie is reporting them to the police station, make your insurance do their work, and hopefully get new bikes ASAP.
