The shakedown ride for a new build I'm finishing had a lot of buzzing and rattling from my cockpit. I have the R9 group from ltwoo, and had already added grease to the brake preload washer from /u/Trace_Velo 's video so I was surprised to still have so much rattle.
The culprit was the clamp hardware attaching the shifters to the handlebar. I worried grease would get spread around and make the shifters slip so I used some rubbery "brake quiet" compound I had laying around. I might have gone a little overboard…
Just thought this might help some future person googling "LTWOO R9 shifter rattling" like I was

Bonus tip: stretching the bar tape while removing it made it come off clean on the second side vs leaving a mess on the first side. (Zipp service course just 1 week old)
Maybe these things are all common knowledge for people who build bikes but I was learning along the way
