  1. Those organisers have some questions to answer, fancy going down a long, straight, well surfaced road, it was bound to end in a crash.

  2. 1. NOTHING shouts SPRING like the return of European Pro Tour road cycling

    2. time trial bikes and aero should be BANNED from All UCI races – it makes NO sense whatsoever – WHY do we do this ??? – NO one rides like this outside of this single stage in stage races – its beyond ridiculous – I think all TT should be raced on road bikes – period – NO aero gear or bike permitted – you can ride in an "aero" tuck position but that is it – it would be FAR more exciting and identify the TRUE STRONGEST riders against the clock which is the SOLE PURPOSE of the stage – as it stands you have a tech contest – best aero bike + gear WINS – PROTEST WITH PLACARDS – NO AERO JUST PURE TT as it was always meant to be – messr. Greg Lemond ruined the TT – sort of like LA and his silly NASCAR BASEBALL CAP killed the French casquette – and Froomoney with his too damn high HIGH SOCKS – now I just have to find the name of the wanker who introduced the ridiculous UNSCIENTIFIC "low resistance" tyre widths GREATER than 23cc – anyone?

  3. I watched the excellent ITV highlights but had to watch several adverts from TNT telling me how brilliant it is that they are grabbing up a load of previously free to air sports and shoving them behind an expensive subscription. No thanks – stop ripping off cycling fans.
