Over the weekend, one of my seat stays on my Emonda SLR cracked in 3 places…. Totally bizarre, was just taking a corner. Luckily didn’t crash.
Took the bike to my local trek dealer and they were dumbfounded. Warranty will cover the frame, new one coming in 3 weeks. Don’t think I’ll find out what happened though, which makes me a little uncomfortable . Must of been a manufacture defect. Bike was 9 months old, 3000 miles, never crashed or dropped.
