I got 30mm tubeless rim tape for a rim that has a 30mm inner width. After reading into how to install it, I am seeing that you should ideally have rim tape that is slightly wider than the inside of your rim to account for the divot where the spoke holes are. I’m wondering if I could just use two wraps of my 30 mm tape with one wrap slightly off to one side and the next slightly off to the other side with the majority of both the wraps overlapping in the middle. Anybody have experience doing this/think it should do the trick/think I should just hold off until I can get the correct size tape? (Note: I will first be removing the green rim tape already on the rim)

Get the correct width tape.
The tape you have pictured will work fine for that rim. 32mm would be a bit too wide and would creep up on the hook of the rim, possibly affecting how the tire beads up.
“two wraps, one wrap slightly off to one side and the next slightly off to the other side” means you’re going to be left with an exposed seam down the entire circumference of the rim where imperfections in your tape job will let air pressure in the tire force sealant under the tape and eventually cause the tape to fail
I did my 30mm rims with 30mm tape and it’s been holding all season.
Thanks for all the free advice folks, I’m gonna send it w/ the 30mm!
It will seal up fine. But.
Problem with rim tapes being too narrow is the edge of the tape will get caught by a tighter tyre when you’re removing it. This will then proceed to lift the tape. This means you might have to change the tape whenever you remove the tyre.
Plus the grooves running in the center of the rim does affect the rim tape coverage.
