  1. so basically you won't get chased by the police if you ride a downhill bike on the street ofc. but if you ride on an unassigned trail and if they catch you, you'd get a fine (Verwaltungsstrafe) which goes from €150 to €730. however in most regions there are authorized trails, i guess the authorities realised that they couldn't forbid riding at all, so they just designated some paths for mtbs as well. but these trails aren't really known outside of locals, mostly you have to look it up on the website of the Bundesland or at the Tourismusverband (tourism association), or you can usually find maps in campings and sport hotels. and yeah, bike parks totally rock hereπŸ”₯πŸ”₯

  4. I am from austria and its not like the first clip
    yes we have great bikeparks but nobody really cares if you ride on trails that are not legal
    i do this verry often but nobody cares

  5. I live in austria, have never experienced such a thing, and i have been riding in parks, cities, trails, forests, free ride… so, i don't know
