  1. BB is BSA square taper, drive side arm came off fine so wondering if I can’t get the NDS arm off about whether I can somehow get the whole thing out, BB and attached crank arm and all?

    If you don’t need to save the arm, just ride it for a little bit without the crank arm fixing bolt in place. The arm’s taper interface will round out, loosen, and come off the bottom bracket spindle. Obviously do this via something like low-ish speed laps around your block…

    This is my in shop go-to for replacing a BB when crank arm threads are trashed. I’ll put a piece of thin plastic (think pieces that cover axles in bike boxes) between the pickle fork and anything else, but if you aren’t concerned about saving the BB or cranks then you might not need to.
