Is this bike quality at all? Will it fall apart if I use it as my starting fixed gear or is it a good bike. All I know is there logo says Pure Fix, and it looks like someone liked this bike years ago.

pure fix is like the worst shit you can buy, really low quality and those wheels are heavy af
Op don’t listen to what people tell you. Low quality does not mean that you will not enjoy it. The most important is paying a fair price and adapt your bike to your needs. If you have the means then for sure invest in a good bike, but if you’re looking at getting into the hobby, then getting a second hand junker for cheap close by is the best way to go about it.
Riding is the best way to get to know what you do and don’t like. It will avoid you making very costly mistakes later on.
Toy and trash
I used to have a similar bike as a winter beater. It was fun. It was a fixed gear. I had a great time riding it. That’s all there is to it. You will have fun riding this bike, and if you maintain it well, it will last a long time. Just don’t expect Ferrari performance. It’s more of a Chevy Cruze that somehow lasts to 300,000 miles despite being a shit car in every way.
FWIW I bought a used Pure Fix rear wheel like 10 years ago from a co-op, and I’m still running that wheel on my beater tracklo conversion.
