So I bought myself a new Bike for cheap Money.
Normaly it would Coast Like 3k, but i got It for like 700 cause the Shop i Work for bought these for really cheap Money.
Its a Carbon Racebike, entry Level, From Last season.
I know its not a Fucking Cervelo, but this ist Just hilarious!
They come with SRAM Apex Eagle 40 to 11-52, which doesnt make any Sense in a Roadbike, so I ordered a Rival 22 for cheap Money.
Obviously i Had to Change the BB From DUB to GXP.
Ordered a Professional removal tool and got the BB Out.
So i cleaned Out the Pressfit area with a paper towel, and saw that the right Side of the "bearing fit area" has a pretty uneven surface. First I thought Something broke Out of the Frame whilst removing BB but there are No Rough edges or Fiber Sticking Out.
Asked some colleagues and all Said Its Bad manufactured and i should try get a new Frame.
I will try, but i have a Bad Feeling about this.
Ist there a was to fix this DIY?
Anyome ever saw this?
Just spread your opinion

Maybe use a thread-together BB like those from Token Ninja or Wheels Manufacturing.

  2. It looks for me like a pretty bad job at removing excess resin around BB area in factory. Somebody basically attacked it with a utility knife. It should be more of a square edge but someone was overenthusiastic. Maybe this is the reason why frame was so cheap. It should in my opinion be scrapped in production. But somehow it ended on the market at the lower price. I feel some shady tactics on the factory side.
