Hi! I have this vintage NJS frame I am building and noticed some rust inside the bb area. I gently scrubbed with WD-40 (not super thoroughly yet and just with an old toothbrush lol) and greased up the inside. Is the rust on the edges of the tubes a concern? Thanks!

If you like the bike, do not allow it to spread. Sand it off somehow. And apply an anti-corrosive after.
that is very minor surface level rust… this frame is what? 30-40 years old? if this is the speed in how this frame is rusting, you can ride it for 10-20 additional years before this becomes a problem…
Does not look bad enough to be a problem. I’d spread a little grease on it as a precaution but it’s probably fine as is.
