Want to use this as a gravel bike. Someone is selling this CC for 1k, I like it and I think it’s worth it, but I’m a noob so not sure. It has a new 1×10 Microsoft sword group set, wolf tooth narrow wide chainring, and 3 Ritchey components (seatpost, stem, and handlebars).
They’re firm on the price. I’m 50/50 on buying it. Should I get this for 1k or pass?

Canto brakes. Not worth more than $500.
Are you set on this sort of look? I’m almost certain you could get a much better bike for 1k dude
Seems steep for used Microshift IMO. The cross check was/is a great frame, but that spec at $1k used feels… wrong. For instance the Primos Dame is around $800 USD new with the same group set.
That said, I really regret never buying that frames before it was discontinued. Great do it all bike.
Hard pass for that price. Crap like this is where the *I know what I’ve got, no lowballers!* joke comes from.
This post gave me a good laugh. Seller trying to support a crack addition or something
Fuck no.
Nope
absolutely not
How bout NOOOOOOOO
No very overpriced. We used to sell these new for 800 back in 2007. I would go for 500 and under
Absolutely not. Not only is it overpriced for its components (everyone else is pointing this out), it would be a subpar gravel bike compared to what else you can find for that price.
Look for disc brakes and better tire clearance at a minimum.
Are those Paul brakes? That’s like 300$ worth of brakes when new.
