BRAND new to cycling. I want to get into triathlons (currently run marathons). I picked up a used Allez a few years back, but it is a 56 and too big for me. I saw this bike pop up and price seems high for a 20 year old bike but maybe not? Whats a fair price for this?

I wouldn’t spend more than a few hundred on it. It’s over 25 years old and likely has high mileage.
If you’re just getting into cycling, I’d avoid a bike this old. There could possibly be a hidden frame crack, problem with the bottom bracket, and possible worn wheel bearings. If you’re buying used, try a high end aluminum bike (Cannondale / Specialized) with modern Shimano components and less than 5 years old.
