The tires look wider on the new model.
On the new model, there seems to be a 500€ difference between the Roadlite 8 and 7, when all that's changed is the rear derailleur and seatpost (280 grams difference).

40mm with a clearance for 52mm.
Definitely a different animal than the old ones, which come with 30mm.
And heavier? The old Roadlite 7 weighs 9.78 kg and the new one 11.42 kg
To me it’s just a different bike now.
The old Roadlite was basically a road bike (Geometry very similar tot he Ultimate) with flat bars. Fast and aggressive, versatile ( space for 35mm tyres + rack mounts)
The new Roadlite was clearly designed for commuting, also, it is only available in three sizes…
