  1. Genuine question: has anyone ever needed TWO 15mm wrenches to do flat repair? Wondering if I’m missing something.

  2. Using a ratcheting spanner for track nuts is like using a 2×13-speed bicycle to get milk from the shop: inelegant overkill.

    Ratcheting spanners are useful when an access problem limits the swing of the spanner or makes it difficult (slow) to get it back on the fastener after a swing. Track nuts on bicycles do not qualify. They have the best access imaginable. A regular ring spanner (box wrench for Americans) is the correct tool.

    Nice work on the holder though.
