I found this bike on FB and was wondering if someone knew which model it is. The guy said it was a bout 8 years old.

That bike is way older than 8-years old. The 9-speed groupset on that bike dates from 20 years ago.
The frame is not carbon fiber. It’s aluminum—you can see the weld beads at the tube junctions.
It would be an early CAAD frame or one of the R-series bikes like an R800.
That bike was 10yo 8 years ago. Yeah bro… steer clear. Furthermore that thing is massive, that’s a bike for someone like 7ft tall
