I chose deore 10 speed for my fatty with a 30t chainring and an 11-42 cassette. Very reasonably priced, good durability. If i had it to do over again though, id get the 11-46 cassette. Had to do the smaller one because i couldnt get the longer cage derailleur during covid. Deore 10 speed though, unbeatable price.

here’s a thread that might help. to me the limiting factor will be the cassette not having a big enough low gear. But I suppose you’ve got a double front chainring. Personally, I would not upgrade. I’d sell it as-is and get something more upgradeable.
