That fake sprint, sit down, and then real sprint was awesome. π
Fantastic overhead shots of the finale! Two things: MVDP held a noticeably faster pedaling cadence than his rivals during the last 2K; and secondly, he reminds me of Peter Sagan in his ability to surf the chaos of the last few kilometers and end up where he needs to beβphenomenal bike handling and sixth sense for where to be, even with people flowing around him during the crucial last minute. In my view, nobody was better than Sagan at this, but maybe weβve seen someone to rival him!
