There’s a fully supported gravel stage race in the South African bushveld (outback if you’d like) that I think you’d love! It’s 850KM total and you camp in game reserves surrounded by the 5 Five! It’s called Gravel Burn, you should check it out! It would be an EPIC video following you through cool like that. The landscapes are out of this world.

Ryanair limit is 30kg. 32kg is the max allowed for any piece of luggage on any airline worldwide without special dispensation. You got lucky if they let you take 32kg without a penalty

I keep a hooked fishing scale at home to keep an eye on baggage weight, basic ones don't cost much and help can avoid the stressful airport check in – chuck out !
