  1. There’s a fully supported gravel stage race in the South African bushveld (outback if you’d like) that I think you’d love! It’s 850KM total and you camp in game reserves surrounded by the 5 Five! It’s called Gravel Burn, you should check it out! It would be an EPIC video following you through cool like that. The landscapes are out of this world.

Anyways love your content. Feeling totally inspired to up my cycling game. Keep going 💪🏾

  2. You were far more threaders than you let on when you got back from that first hour in the rain!! I’d loved to have seen the off camera chuntering. I would have been fizzing sorting all that kit out 😂

  3. Ryanair limit is 30kg. 32kg is the max allowed for any piece of luggage on any airline worldwide without special dispensation. You got lucky if they let you take 32kg without a penalty

  4. I’m here now to escape the British weather. It’s rained every day so far and forecast to continue all week. Massively windy also. Would love to have a shot of the rides in decent weather!

  5. I keep a hooked fishing scale at home to keep an eye on baggage weight, basic ones don't cost much and help can avoid the stressful airport check in – chuck out !

  6. Solid video Dan. Those views look incredible in the sun! Do you insure your bike when you travel? If so, who with? Looking to do a trip in the near future 🚲
