Two weeks ago, my friends and I embarked on a bikepacking trip in Provence and the Hautes-Alpes in France. We explored the Verdon Natural Regional Park, cycled around Lac de Sainte-Croix, and tackled rides up the Tour de France climbs, Col de Vars and Col d’Izoard, without the bags.
